2017 Future Report Planning Team & Application Form of Rome Youth Forum
“The future of education” to be discussed in Rome.
Invitation to Kyung Hee Students to be part of the International Academic Conference with World’s scholars
We invite Kyung Hee University students to the International Academic Conference in Rome this coming November. Many intellectuals from all around the world will gather to discuss the future education.
The international conference is hosted by the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS) and the World University Consortium (WUC) and also co-hosted by IAUP(International Association of University Presidents)University, IUC(Inter University Campus), University of Rome and Kyung Hee University.
The conference will hold at the University of Rome from November 16th to November 18th. University of Rome will not only invite scholars, political leaders, corporate leaders, NGO leaders but will also invite students from all around world to attend this conference. The student’s forums are scheduled to be hold on a different date.
WAAS is a global think tank founded for the future of earth’s civilization. It was founded in 1960 by eminent scientists, philosophers, artists, and politicians including Einstein and Oppenheimer.
WUC is a worldwide association of university founded by WAAS in 2013 to nurture an 'Entire human being'. Kyung Hee University, which has led on founding of the International University President's Association (IAUP) in 1965, has a close cooperative relationship with WUC and WAAS.
Students who are selected as participants in the International Conference will be rewarded with whole training expenses through Kyung Hee short-term international exchange program and also will be rewarded credits for international exchange program by Rome University.
Rome, the historical city of millennia and the center of western civilization, is waiting for you!
The air of the conference is to search of the civilization by contemporary youth with the best intelligence of the time. We look forward to your interest and participation.
■Number of selecting students: 20 people (Including referrals from the student council)
■ Eligibility
: Any Kyung Hee University students who can speak English (2017-2 Kyung Hee Undergraduate students except freshmen)
■ Activities
1) <Future Report 2017> Support for planning and Operation (* August - September 2017)
2) <Rome Conference Youth Students Forum> Meeting for preparation (* September ~ October 2017)
3) <World Peace Day (PBF) > Participated in "The Future of Education and the Challenges of the Global Citizens" debate (* During September PBF)
4) <Rome International Conference> Participation (* May change from November 14 to November 21, 2017)
■ Period of activities: Mid-August 2017 to end of December 2017 (Regular activities)
■ Application period: Monday, August 7~ Friday, August 11, 2017
■ How to apply
1) Download the attached application form or download the application form through the homepage

2) Send the completed application form to the Global Social Service Corps e-mail (applygsc@khu.ac.kr)
※ Subject of the e-mail should be ‘Future Report and Rome Conference Application (Name)’

-Document screening-> Interview (Aug. 16 ~ 17, Individual notification after document screening)
■ Benefits
