Global Collaborative 2016 Summer Program

- Opening Ceremony & Orientation: July 1, 2016
- Courses: July 4, 2016 ~ July 22, 2016 [3-week]
- Korean Culture Week: July 23, 2016 ~ July 28, 2016 [6-day]
- Location: KHU Seoul Campus
Credit
- 2-credit course: total 10 sessions (3 hours/session, 5 times/week), 30 hours
- 3-credit course: total 15 sessions (3 hours/session, 5 times/week), 45 hours
- Grading is based on attendance, class discussion, homework, and examinations. KHU regulations require a minimum of 70% attendance to receive academic credits. (Pass/Fall)
- Credits will be accepted either Major Elective(전공선택) or General Elective(자유이수) depending on major. With the exception of the Korean Language classes, all courses are taught in English.

- Extra points for UN/International Organization internship program (earning credits from minimum 2 courses)
- Extra points for Exchange program organized by Office of International Affairs (English-speaking countries only, maximum 3 points)
Tuition & Fees
- Tuition: KRW 100,000/credit (separate admin fee and Korean Culture Week participation fee will be charged)
Teaching Assistant Recruitment
- One student assistant per course (total 18 student assistants except Korean Language I,II)
- Application: March 23, 2016 ~ April 3, 2016

Scholarship
- Alumni Scholarship: Students who have a KHU alumni parent receive a 30% reduction in tuition
- Employee’s Family Scholarship: Students who have a parent who are a KHU faculty or staff member receive a 50% reduction in tuition
- Neo-Renaissance Scholarship: maximum of KRW 300,000 will be provided for student who achieved academic excellence(details will be provided later only to KHU students)
