Guide to International Students to leave or to Remain at the Dormitory
during Winter Vacation
[Leaving the dormitory after 2rd semester in 2015]
1. Leaving period: From 21st December. 2015 (Monday) to 22nd December , 2015 (Tuesday)
2. Notes:
- You are required to leave the dormitory for its cleaning and facility management.
- You are required to discuss the time and date of leaving with the RA(Resident Assistant) of dormitory in advance.
- For the students at I-House, you can leave it by receiving the deposit after returning the key, the entrance key and the beddings to the assistant leader of dormitory in case that everything is checked and confirmed to be all right at the very day when you are leaving it.
- For the students at Sewha Hall, you are required to return the key and the entrance key to the assistant leader of dormitory and to return the beddings at the lobby on the first floor in case that everything is checked and confirmed to be all right at the very day when you are leaving it. If you want to leave before 9 o’clock in the morning of the weekdays or after 1 o’clock in the afternoon of weekends, you are required to get the room checked the night before you leave it. Especially, for the students at Sewha Hall, please note that under the bed, toilet, etc. are checked mainly.
[Remaining to stay at the dormitory during winter vacation in 2015]
- For the students(exclude exchange student and graduate student) who want to stay at (use) the dormitory during the winter vacation, please note that you are required to apply for that according to the following procedures
- If you don’t apply for that, you are required to leave it during the period of leaving mentioned above.
- All the students who are staying at the dormitory during the summer vacation are required to cooperate with its cleaning and facility management during that period.
1. Application of dormitory
-Application Eligibility: For the under-graduate students(exclude exchange student) of Hyunghee University Seoul Campus
-Application Period: 21st October 2015 ~ 13rd November 2015
-Required Application Material Submission: 1 Application Form(attached in this notice), 1 copy of Certification of Enrollment
-Application methods:
① You can apply for that by visiting Global Center (Rm. 113 at the underground floor in Cheongwun Hall) in person.
② E-mail: Please fill out the application form for remaining which is attached and scan it. Then, send it to the e-mail address of chomookeun@khu.ac.kr
- When you e-mail, please write down 'Dormitory Application for Winter, Name, Student ID number' in title.
Ex) Dormitory Application for Winter, Tom Brown, 2015102409
2. Period for remaining in Dormitory
– For January Stay: 22nd December 2015 (Tuesday) ~ 22nd January 2015 (Friday)
– For January Stay: 22nd January 2015 (Friday) ~ 22nd February 2015 (Monday)
– For January and February Stay: 22nd December 2015 (Tuesday) ~ 22nd January 2015 (Monday)
3. Acceptance notice of remaining
- It will be notified at 15:00 on 18th November 2015
You can check in the notice board in Global Center Homepage (http://globalcenter.khu.ac.kr)
4. Others:
- You are required to do the dormitory cleaning and facility management during winter vacation.
- The student of I-HOUSE must do the facility management because there will have the repair maintenance work on December to January.
- After being accepted to remain at the dormitory, you are not allowed to cancel that. In case, If you want to cancel, you must contact Global Center on the date of acceptance notice remaining (18th November, 2015)
