Application for Waiving KHU Medical Insurance Coverage
(Students enrolled in a comparable insurance plan)
International Students MUST participate in KHU medical insurance or in a health plan of comparable coverage of their choice.
Students MUST have insurance to participate in Kyung Hee’ programs and apply for scholarships.
Students enrolled in a comparable health insurance plan may submit a waiver if they do not wish to be charged for KHU medical insurance. In order to apply for a waiver, students should submit a copy of a certificate of coverage from their health insurance provider within the period before the tuition invoice is issued.
Please note, students enrolled in a comparable health insurance plan for 2015-2(Policy period:2015.09.01~2016.02.28) should submit a copy of a certificate of coverage from their health insurance provider via e-mail(globalcenter@khu.ac.kr) or in person(Global Center; Cheongwoon Bldg. #B113) by 5pm, August 08th. (KHU medical insurance fee will not be applied to your tuition invoice.)

1. The insurance coverage period of your medical insurance
(should be valid from 2015.09.01 to 2016.02.28.)
2. Student number/Major/Name(English)/Phone Num./E-mail address
※ All students without a comparable medical insurance are automatically enrolled in the KHU medical insurance and charges are applied to their tuition invoice.
※ Students who have not submitted a copy of a certificate of coverage from their health insurance provider by the due date (August 8th at 5pm) will be refunded of the KHU medical insurance fee after they make payment for the fee which is included in tuition.
To apply for a refund please submit a copy of a certificate of coverage from your health insurance provider, the tuition payment receipt, and a copy of your bank book by e-mail or in person by 5pm, September 16th. For more details, please refer to the follow-up notice on the Global Center website.
