Guide to Foreign Students to leave or to Remain at the Dormitory during Summer Vacation
[Leaving the dormitory after 1st semester in 2015]
1. Leaving period: From June 22nd, 2015 (Monday) to June 23rd, 2015 (Tuesday)
2. Notes:
- You are required to leave the dormitory for its cleaning and facility management.
- You are required to discuss the time and date of leaving with the RA(Resident Assistant) of dormitory in advance.
- For the students at I-House, you can leave it by receiving the deposit after returning the key, the entrance key and the beddings to the assistant leader of dormitory in case that everything is checked and confirmed to be all right at the very day when you are leaving it.
- For the students at Sewha Hall, you are required to return the key and the entrance key to the assistant leader of dormitory and to return the beddings at the lobby on the first floor in case that everything is checked and confirmed to be all right at the very day when you are leaving it. If you want to leave before 9 o’clock in the morning of the weekdays or after 1 o’clock in the afternoon of weekends, you are required to get the room checked the night before you leave it. Especially, for the students at Sewha Hall, please note that under the bed, toilet, etc. are checked mainly.
[Remaining to stay at the dormitory during summer vacation in 2015]
- For the students(exclude exchange student) who want to stay at (use) the dormitory during the summer vacation, please note that you are required to
apply for that according to the following procedures
- If you don’t apply for that, you are required to leave it during the period of leaving mentioned above.
- All the students who are staying at the dormitory during the summer vacation are required to cooperate with its cleaning and facility management during that period.
1. Remaining period
- Remaining students in July – from June 24th, 2015 (Wednesday) to July 27th, 2015 (Monday)
- Remaining students in August – From July 30th, 2015 (Thursday) to the end of August
- Remaining students both of in July & in August – From June 24th, 2015 (Wednesday) to the end of August
- You are required to cooperate with its cleaning and facility management during the summer vacation.
2. Application period for remaining
– From April 13th, 2015 (Monday) to 17:00 May 15th, 2015 (Friday)
3. Application methods:
- Please fill out the application form for remaining which is attached and scan it. - Then, send it to the e-mail address of chomookeun@khu.ac.kr
- When you e-mail, please write down 'Dormitory Application for summer, Name, Student ID number' in title.
Ex) Dormitory Application for summer, Alex Cho, 2015102409
- Also, you can apply for that by visiting Global Center (Rm. 113 at the underground floor in Cheongwun Hall) in person.
- Please note that some applicants may not be allowed to remain at the dormitory based on the reasons of its management.
4. Acceptance notice of remaining
- It will be notified at 17:00 on May 22nd, 2015 (Friday)
- Please note that some applicants may not be allowed to remain at the dormitory based on the reasons of its management.
(You are recommended planning where to stay in summer vacation as an alternative in advance in case that your application is not accepted.)
- Please note that, after being accepted to remain at the dormitory, you are not allowed to cancel that.
5. Remaining at the dormitory
- Please note that the dormitory fees can’t be refunded in case that you leave in the middle of the period.
- The dormitory fees are as follows and their payment period and bank account no. shall be notified when you are accepted to remain at it.
