The COVID-19 Vaccination Official Absence Policy is to be implemented in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and provide a safe educational environment.
Background
Preventing the spread of the COVID-19 and promoting student safety through vaccination
Preventing any attendance disadvantages for those who have been vaccinated and experiencing side effects.
Standards for Official Absence
Excused Students: Students who are inevitably unable to participate in lectures due to side effects from vaccination
※ It is also applicable for students whose COVID-19 vaccination schedules is inevitably conflicted with class schedule.
Required Documents: Application for Official Absence (attached), Document of Proof (COVID-19 vaccination certificate),
※ Must be applied within 10 days of vaccination
Excusable Number of Days: Maximum of 2 days including the day of vaccination
Approval of absence: To get confirmation from the course lecturer about document submission
Other Notes
A) Attendance is only excused for offline classes or realtime online classes
- Attendance for courses in a combined type of offline and online courses will depend on the type of the specific class (day) the documents are submitted
B) If the student is unable to participate the recorded lecture due to the schedule conflicts with the vaccination, please contact the lecturer in advance to get excused.
