2015 Spring Term International Dormitory Admission Procedures

n Please read the below and the attached document carefully. Incorrectly completing the form or wrong information may result in being refused admission to the dormitory.
n Please fill out all information in application and submit it with proof of tuition payment or proof of enrollment by the deadline.
The Kyung Hee University Global Center is opening housing registration for international students who desire to stay in the international student dormitories (Sewha Hall and I-House) for the 2015 spring semester. Please pay close attention to the requirements and deadlines.
1. Eligibility: Non-Korean undergraduate students attending Kyung Hee University’s Seoul Campus for the spring 2015 term.
2. Move-In/Out Dates
- Students check in to the dorm on February 26th and 27th and stay for approximately 4 months, terminating at the end of June 2015.
- Check-out dates are subject to change, but will be announced ahead of time and are usually at the end of June. In order to have the dorms cleaned, students may be asked to leave before the last day of the June.
3. Application Period
- Incoming Students/Freshman: January 19th to February 2nd, 2015
- Returning Students: December 15th to February 2nd, 2015
4. Admission to the dorm will be announced at 15:00 on February 6th, 2015 via a post on our homepage (http://ciss.khu.ac.kr) and through individual notices
5. Payment: The dormitory fee must be paid in a single payment. For more information, please refer to the attached File.
6. Required Paperwork
- Incoming Students/Freshman will need to submit 1 copy of the application form (see attachment) and a tuition payment receipt.
- Returning Students will need to submit 1 copy of the application form (see attachment) and a certificate of enrollment.
In addition to the application, students must submit either a receipt for their tuition payment (for new students, such as incoming freshmen and transfer students) or a certificate of enrollment (for returning students who have attended KHU for at least one term), as well as a clear visa or passport style photo of the applicant’s face. These items can be scanned and sent via email as attachments along with the application to choomookeun@khu.ac.kr, Please note that the application form itself must be typed, and not handwritten.
7. Submit to: e-mail (chomookeun@khu.ac.kr) or visit the Global Center offices. We will not accept applications via post, and can only accept typed applications, not handwritten. Questions can be directed to us by email or phone (02-961-9286/9287)
