한국에 대해서 더 자세히 알고 싶으신 학생들에게 좋은 소식이 한 가지 있습니다.
외국인지원센터에서는 외국인 학생들의 한국문화에 대한 이해를 돕고자
한국문화 체험프로그램 “Korean Culture Sessions”를 운영합니다.
한국의 전통문화에 대해 배우고 다양한 친구도 사귈 수 있는 절호의 기회를 놓치지 마세요.
두 번째 세션은 한국의 전통 ‘집(건축)’을 주제로 진행될 예정입니다. 세션은 한옥에 대한 Jennifer Flinn 경희대학교 교수님 미니렉처와 더불어 실제 한국의 전통 한옥이 모여있는 '서촌 한옥마을'을 도보관광 할 예정입니다.
1. 일시
- 10월 31일(금), 오후 1시 30분 ~ 4시
2. 참가신청
- 첫째, 본 페이지 하단의 버튼을 클릭하셔서 참가신청서를 작성한다.
- 둘째, 외국인지원센터를 방문하여 참가비 3,000원을 현금으로 납부한다. (10월 24일까지)
* 납부하신 참가비는 행사 당일 출석체크 시 환급해드립니다.
* 결석 시 환급 불가
3. 안내사항
- 참가비 납부를 완료하시면 프로그램 참가를 위한 세부사항이 기재된 이메일을 받아 보실 수 있습니다.
- 필요하신 분에 한해서 수업 협조전을 발급해드립니다. (참가신청서 작성 시 기재요망)
- Korean Culture Sessions에 참여 시 교내 매그놀리아 인증제를 통해 대외활동 점수를 인정받으실 수 있습니다.

Would you like to know more about Korea? If you're interested in exploring Korean culture, we have some exciting news :)
The Center for International Students & Scholars is organizing a new series called “Korean Culture Sessions” for KHU students to learn more about Korea. It’s a great opportunity for students who are interested in Korean traditional culture to enjoy both lectures and hands-on experience, as well as make new friends.
Each session will include a short lecture by Jennifer Flinn, KHU professor and head of the Global Zone, to help prepare students and give them more information. After each lecture, students will then have a chance to explore the topic more deeply through hands-on experiences. The theme of the second session is traditional Korean Houses. After a short introduction to the topic, participants will have a chance to walk around '서촌 한옥마을', traditional village of Korea .
1. Schedule
- October 31 (Friday). 1:30pm ~ 4:00pm
2. How to apply
- First, click the continue button below and fill out the application form with all required information
- Second, visit the CISS to pay a small deposit of 3,000KRW to confirm your participation - this deposit will be refunded to you at the beginning of the Korean Culture Session, after attendance has been taken.
3. Notes
- A confirmation letter will be sent to you after you pay the deposit with all the necessary details for you to participate in the event
- If you have to skip the class for this event,a “cooperation letter (협조전)” will be issued to you that you can submit to your professor for an excused absence
- Since your participation to this event is regarded as an extra-curricular activity, you’ll be rewarded with “Magnolia Points”
